What is Christian Science?
Our church is founded on the healing works of Christ Jesus and his command that we follow in his footsteps. This is the greatest love one can have for God and for mankind.
Through the discovery of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy in 1866, the spiritual laws underlying Jesus’ works were brought to light as a present and provable system of prayer-based healing. For more than a century, these laws have been demonstrated through countless healings by Eddy, her students, and those practicing Christian Science today.
Mary Baker Eddy, her students, and Christian Scientists today have demonstrated—through more than 130 years of documented healing—that an understanding of God’s law is a powerful, safe, and natural means of healing, just as it was two millennia ago.
Christian Science is a tested and reliable system of spiritual healing, founded on the unchanging laws and infinite love of God, Spirit.
